New point2point DC Link

25th September 2009 - PPM has enhanced its DC coupled analogue fibre links to achieve new levels of performance.

Using 14 bit architecture and a greatly improved data rate, analogue bandwidths of up to 40MHz are faithfully transmitted over very large distances. A choice of configurations are available, ranging from 10 channel 19” racks, to self contained, EMI hardened battery powered units.

The new modules are a fit, form and function replacements for the previous 12 bit generation links. The point2point suite of batteries, rack assemblies and other accessories are also compatible with the new range of DC links, making upgrading a trivial exercise.
